大灣區(qū)科學論壇 Greater Bay Area Science Forum
大灣區(qū)科學論壇永久會址日前在廣東省廣州市南沙區(qū)正式動工。該建筑群由會議中心、科創(chuàng)中心和科學家公寓等組成，地上總建筑面積約11萬平方米。
The construction of the permanent venue for the Greater Bay Area Science Forum began on Saturday in Nansha district of Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province. With an above-ground floor area of approximately 110,000 square meters, the architectural complex will consist of multiple facilities, including a conference center, a sci-tech innovation center and apartment buildings.

大灣區(qū)科學論壇是由“一帶一路”國際科學組織聯(lián)盟發(fā)起、廣東省人民政府主辦的國際合作交流平臺，旨在為各國政府、科學家和科研人員、創(chuàng)新企業(yè)家以及金融界專家等提供一個討論科學發(fā)展趨勢，共享科研成果，催生創(chuàng)新合作，促進產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展的高層次交流平臺。首屆大灣區(qū)科學論壇于2021年12月在廣州舉行。2022年9月24日，永久會址正式動工，預計將于2025年建成投用。永久會址建筑群的方形體量被雕刻成數(shù)個風帆與海浪元素的屋面單元，展示出新時期中國科學發(fā)展百舸爭流、千帆競渡的拼搏精神。
粵港澳大灣區(qū)是中國開放程度最高、經(jīng)濟活力最強、創(chuàng)新發(fā)展最活躍的區(qū)域之一。作為粵港澳大灣區(qū)最高級別的科學盛會，大灣區(qū)科學論壇將為大灣區(qū)建成國際科技創(chuàng)新中心，建設全球科技創(chuàng)新高地，推動新興產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展，注入全新動能，產(chǎn)生積極深遠影響。

要發(fā)揮我國社會主義制度能夠集中力量辦大事的顯著優(yōu)勢，強化黨和國家對重大科技創(chuàng)新的領導，充分發(fā)揮市場機制作用，圍繞國家戰(zhàn)略需求，優(yōu)化配置創(chuàng)新資源，強化國家戰(zhàn)略科技力量，大幅提升科技攻關體系化能力，在若干重要領域形成競爭優(yōu)勢、贏得戰(zhàn)略主動。
The country should leverage the marked advantages of socialism which has the ability to mobilize resources to accomplish major initiatives, strengthen the leadership of the CPC and the government on major scientific and technological innovation, and give full play to the role of the market. China should optimize the allocation of innovation resources based on the country's strategic needs, strengthen the country's strategic scientific and technological strength, greatly improve the systematic ability to tackle key scientific and technological problems, and cultivate competitive advantages and seize the strategic initiative in a number of important areas.
